WHAT TO DO

A complex of hills located in the Urca neighborhood, near the Christ the Redeemer statue, Pão de Açúcar is one of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic landmarks. One of its main attractions is the cable car ride, known as the bondinho do Pão de Açúcar. Designed in 1908 and inaugurated in 1912, it was the first cable car in Brazil and the third in the world.

Elected as one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Christ the Redeemer stands 38 meters tall. As Tom Jobim sang in one of his songs, it stands with open arms over Guanabara Bay.

A perfect opportunity to connect with nature in the heart of the city. With shaded paths, imperial palm trees, and a rich diversity of plant species, this visit enchants with its beauty, history, and tranquility.

Museu do Amanhã is a science museum that explores the opportunities and challenges humanity may face in the coming decades, offering an engaging perspective on sustainability.

Founded in 1894, Confeitaria Colombo is an important part of Rio de Janeiro’s history and is now recognized as a cultural and artistic heritage site within the city.
